I actually liked the book quite a lot, but I think I would've despite any flaws. I'm a fan of Wentz as a lyricist ("Hey youngblood, doesn't it feel like our time running out" had me the moment I heard the new single). It is disjointed, rambling and sometimes incoherent, but I think it's fitting on the narrative kind of like the first time I read Catcher in the Rye or My Friend Leonard. I think it could have still been more polished and it undeniably has a charm even if you're essentially reading the account of someone's life falling apart at the seams.
